Tammy Bumgarner Tammy Bumgarner lives in Rochester , Illinois, with her husband Shane, daughter Jocelyn, stepson Jesse, along with her two German Shepherd dogs, Maggie and Bobo and cat Harley. She is the Program Coordinator for the State of Illinois Court Reporting Services program. Tammy attends church at Hope Evangelical Free Church in Springfield, where she is also the team leader of the visual arts program. Whenever she can find some free time, she enjoys volleyball, camping, traveling, and hiking. Tammy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Springfield, which she attended on a volleyball scholarship. Shortly after graduating, Tammy began working for the Illinois court system. She now oversees the operations of the court reporting program which employs nearly 600 people throughout the state. Additionally, she is a licensed real estate agent for Simply Real Estate Co. in Springfield. Tammy got involved with HFTFN in 2006 shortly after her husband Shane started working with the group. Tammy began offering assistance with some of the administrative functions and the website, and later became a board member. She was able to go on her first summer mission trip in 2007, working at the White Earth day camp. After spending time on the reservation, it only opened her eyes to how much more needs to be done to really serve the community of White Earth.
