Sara Kienzle Sara is a Lincoln Christian College graduate. She is currently working with the YMCA and providing in home elderly care in Lincoln, Illinois. Sara is a member of Hope Evangelical Free Church of Springfield. She is best known for her love of cooking and hospitality. Sara Kienzle has been involved with Hope For the First Nations since 2003. What began as just another mission trip has become a life's ambition. Many opportunities have come through the years to “skip” Minnesota including trips to Greece and Italy and internships in Africa, but every year, God has brought Sara back to her quiet dock on the Little Bemiji Lake. Most summers are filled with playing with the kids and cooking for the team, but Minnesota winter trips are a different story. Winter is a time to play in the snow and get to know the adults of White Earth Indian Reservation a little more during the holidays. No matter the time of year, Minnesota is the place to be for anyone deeply involved in HFtFN. Sara feels that God continues to move through this ministry and that is something worth being apart of. She looks forward to helping HFtFN grow as a not-for-profit organization and to see the vision of a children's home become reality. Many steps separate now from then, but that is part of the adventure. In preparation for such steps, Sara hopes to connect to a healthy not-for-profit organization to learn more about the business side of mission work. While a BA in bivocational mission work is helpful, hands on experience is key. "May God continue to be glorified on the White Earth Indian Reservation." ~ Sara
