How You Can Help

Lindy Wilson

Lindy lives in Springfield, Illinois. Lindy is pursuing a Master's Degree in Religious Education at Lincoln Christian College and Seminary.   Her other educational experiences include coursework towards an MBA, a bachelor degree in Art, an associates degree in science and the independent pursuit of language acquisition while studying in Costa Rica and Mexico.  Professionally Lindy has taught high school Spanish levels 1-4, managed several small businesses and enjoyed working in many different coffee shops.  Currently she is cleaning houses for income in order to focus on writing her thesis.  In her free time, Lindy enjoys making jewelry and spending time with her dog, Charlie, who is a 126 pound St. Bernard/Rottweiler mix.

Lindy has been working among the Ojibwe people since 1995, specifically working with the White Earth Reservation since 1997.  As for her continued support and interest in HFtFN and the Anishinaabe people, Lindy says that she knows that Spirit of God is stirring in this organization. “Even as I was ‘working on my testimony' this team never gave up on me. The love the team has, the love the leadership shows, and the Truth and integrity these people work to uphold, commands respect. I wouldn't want to work with any other group of people which includes those I've come to know as my friends, those that are the ‘Original People'.”
