Dear Friends:
Thank you for your interest in Hope for the First Nations. HFtFN has been traveling to serve the people of the White Earth Reservation in Northern Minnesota for more than 10 years now. The faces of those serving and being served may change over the years, but the goals remain the same: to serve the community of White Earth and share the love of Jesus Christ.

Our major trip up north each year is for our summer day camp for children ages 4 through 12. The kids get to play games, do crafts, sing and perform skits.  We also feed them snacks and lunch every day.  For these kids who commonly lead very tough lives, this is a wonderful break just to be a kid.

More so in this past year, we have found ourselves growing.  We made huge leaps and bounds forming wonderful relationships with Elders and community members.  We have even been asked to do more day camps!  So next year, we are planning camps in at least four different locations (Pine Point, White Earth, Rice Lake and Big Elbow Lake).

The only unfortunate part of growing is that our normal sources of funding are no longer enough to support our work.  As we form closer relationships on the reservation, we learn more of the needs of the entire community, which only makes us want to do more!  We are often limited in how we can help.

We ask that you prayerfully consider how you might be part of our mission. If you like what we are doing and feel led to contribute, please click the button to the left to find out how you can help. Thank you for your consideration!
